Why trust enjoysteamboat.com over VRBO*?
Some rental owners rent out their vacation homes through listing sites, such as VRBO* ("Vacation Rentals by Owner*"). You are only adding a new layer in the rental process. VRBO* is simply a marketing company. We could pay them or pass the savings along to you. By going directly through enjoysteamboat.com, you can talk directly with the owners through a simple phone call.

What is the advantage of renting from a local owner?
You can save a great deal of
money. We normally base our rates on comparable lodging in Steamboat and then discoutn. For the price of a single room, you will be staying
in brand-new lodging that includes all the amenities a
vacation lodge should; ample space, private bathrooms, hot tubs, deck, full kitchen, dining area,
stereo, 3 TVs, etc...
What are the disadvantages?
There is no room service or
maid service. We live and work in Denver and Boulder and it takes us about
three hours for us to get up to Steamboat. We will do our best to make
sure everything is in order. You may need to shovel a little (who cares,
because even more fell on the mountain) or sweep the deck. Simply put,
you will be staying in our "home away from home."
How many properties do you own?
Just one. 3109 Mariah is our only
property. We purchased it with proceeds of three others.
What if we need help? It's just a phone call away!
Dave and Julie, Jeff and Rana can help with anything! We will have our
cell phones on to assist you with:
- Where to eat?
- When does the bus come?
- Where should we hike today?
- Where should we bike today?
- What is the average temp today in Zimbabwe?
- Anything?
We are particularly proud of our knowledge of the mountain. With a simple phone call, Dave or Jeff can guide you to some of the more unique areas even down to a specific tree or rock. Can you accept credit cards?
Yes. Dave and Jeff own a company based in the Front Range (that's Denver/Boulder/Ft. Collins/ Co. Springs.)
We accept all the major credit cards.
How do we get the keys? Once payment is made for the
time you would like to spend in Steamboat, we will overnight a set of
keys to you. When you are leaving, leave them in the townhome and just
give us a call when you arrive safely home.
